One of the most well-loved women’s events of the season is back at Saugeen.
The Women’s Member/Member Tournament returns June 15–16 and is open to all female Saugeen members. Now entering its fourth year, the event continues to grow thanks to its fun, supportive format that encourages golfers of all skill levels to take part.
This is a net tournament designed especially to welcome higher handicap players into tournament play alongside a partner in a relaxed and social atmosphere.
Tournament Format
The format is a 1 Best of 2 (Ringer):
- Each player plays their own ball
- Teams record the best gross and net score between the two players on each hole
- Round 2 follows the same format, with teams updating their scorecard only if they improve on their Round 1 score
Once your score can no longer help the team on a hole, players are encouraged to pick up to help maintain pace of play.
A few additional details:
- Minimum of five posted 2026 scores required prior to the event
- Maximum handicap: 36
- Lunch included following Round 2
Registration will open May 21st at 7pm – NOW CLOSED
And if you’ve been tournament-curious but not quite ready to dive into something ultra-competitive, many members say this is exactly the event to start with.
