Get Your Kids on the Course This June
If you’re looking for a way to get your child outdoors, active, and building confidence—golf might just be the perfect fit. Our Junior Summer League is designed to introduce young players to the game in a fun, friendly, and inclusive way.
Whether your child is new to golf or already showing promise on the course, this league is about more than just scorecards. It’s about learning the game, enjoying the walk, and growing alongside other young players in a supportive golf community.
Junior Summer League Details:
-
When: Sundays in June at 4:00 PM (excluding long weekends)
-
Where: Saugeen Golf Club
-
Cost: $20 per player (tax included)
-
Format: Two hours of tee times each week, with fun challenges like closest to the pin and long drive
-
Prizing: Every participant receives a prize each week
Over the month of June, our instructors will observe and evaluate all players during league play. This helps us place each golfer in the right fit for the rest of the summer:
-
Fun Division – A scramble-style league for beginners and social golfers
-
Competitive Division – For juniors ready to play their own ball and test their skills
Parents can register a full foursome or just one child—we’ll provide access to a Google Spreadsheet so participants can see their group or connect with others.
Why junior golf?
Golf teaches patience, focus, and resilience—and it’s one of the few sports kids can play for life. Our league is the perfect place to build those foundations while having fun and making friends.
