What a weekend at Saugeen Golf Club.
The 2026 Club Championships delivered everything you could hope for—great golf, incredible course conditions, and a clubhouse buzzing with support.
One of the highlights wasn’t just the competition itself, but the number of members who came out simply to cheer on the players as they made their way up the finishing holes. It was a reminder that the Club Championships are about more than crowning champions; they’re about bringing our golf community together.
A huge thank you goes to our grounds crew, whose dedication had all 27 holes looking spectacular. We heard countless compliments throughout the weekend about the outstanding condition of the golf course, providing a championship-worthy stage for every competitor.

This year’s championships also marked a special milestone for the club, with Nick and Darin Dirk becoming the first father-and-son duo to capture the Men’s and Senior Men’s Club Championships in the same year—a remarkable achievement and a memorable chapter in Saugeen Golf Club history.
